Not exactly. If I hold the rpms at a steady 1,000 rpm, the rapid ticking will stay constant. Again, it may be normal, but I just don't remember it standing out from before. I try my best to be "in tune" with my car, but I don't remember if it has always done this or not.
Yeah it can be difficult to hear in the video, but I feel the 2nd time I raise the rpms up, it seems pretty apparent. Probably harder if you don't know exactly what your looking for.  Its right from the 14 to 16 second mark. |

Now that I grabbed my good pair of headphones I do hear what your talking about. But I can't say I have ever heard it on mine. If my car wasn't all covered up I would check and see for you. Maybe someone else who goes to their car everyday can chime in and confirm that it's normal or not
