If this, if that. . . that wasn't the circumstance. Even if it were the circumstance, you think you are going to have two cars in front of and behind you so close that you can't maneuver and get out in a matter of seconds? How is he going to break through your window and get leverage through that window to hit you while your car is moving? It's a hammer, not a chain saw. I'll toss some ifs your way as well. What if the guy wanted to sell him the hammer? What if he was going to hit the car with no intention of inflicting harm to the driver? Though that's wrong and a crime, it is still not justification for use of deadly force. Firearms are a last resort. LAST resort.
