Someone comes and asks me for money, sorry pal, catch me a year ago or in 2. I gave a lot of money away when I was working, helped out every single legitimate charity that asked for help and had a few that were my main projects too. I mean every single legitimate charity that asked, I either dug into my own pocket or did a fundraiser at work or both. Truth is that I give more money away to charity than every other person in my life combined.
But times changed, yes I have a $60,000 car, and three weeks after I paid cash for it I lost my job. It happens, I'm now in school, again, finish up that degree at the ripe age of 35. But I am going into debt and living on fixed income, every single dollar is accounted for. So people that ask for money today, oh well. I'll help out, volunteer when I can, try and be a good neighbor.
So I'm figuring the bum thought, nice car, dude owes me some money. And when you didn't pay he'll get you. That's why I say he's a POS and human garbage. He should try making use of his time, amazingly homeless people are allowed to volunteer at community projects too if they want to.
That's my rant, I apologize, when I start working again after graduation, I'll start giving to charity again, and paying off my school debt, but until then I don't mind people asking, they just need to respect it when I say no.
