We were at a banquet table several years ago down visiting friends in St Louis, MO and a guy did that same thing - you could tell, he was in trouble. This big ol' gal who was a nurse jumped up, I've never seen 300# move so damn fast. She hoisted him up and gave him the ol' bearhug and he shot that chunk of meat 15 feet.
Local fire stations do free CPR classes all the time. It's an afternoon or evening well spent. Never know when someone might need help.
