I agree. It was definitely a CG issue. There is no way a loaded 747 climbs at that high of an AOA close to a stall. And most plane issues are covered by redundant systems and pilots practice engine out glideback landings hundreds and hundreds of times. Airplane issues are exaggerated due to when a catastrophic one does occur it causes a major loss of life. You are hundreds of times more likely to die in a car accident than an aircraft incident. And with takeoff flaps you're actually creating more lift than with flaps fully retracted. Granted 747's have quite a few flap settings so takeoff setting isn't a true representation, but still. It's a subject that if you don't have experience flying any aircraft such as a Private's Pilots License or instructor or more, it's hard to fathom.
