But for what it's worth, the cancellation of the Camaro was due in part to issues with the factory. It was due for a redesign in '02, and had the *insert not-so-nice word here* senior management not pulled the plug, it would still be around today. After that, there was no bringing it back, nor
planning to bring it back untill 2006. (Coincidence to the Camaro Concept's debut?

) Had it not been for that, you ought to bet your bottom Camaro would have been back by now; Mustang or no.
I truly believe that the current Mustang's success had MUCH more influence in the decision to bring back the Challenger, then it had on the Camaro. Don't mistake me though, it's sales numbers certainly increased GM's optimism, no doubt. It's not like they were ignoring it.
