ok, so five years after the GTO came out with 400hp and 8 years after the demise of the 4th gen f-body, the Mustang is finally going to get enough horsepower to keep up... whoopty friggin do... we've already seen that a 500hp Mustang can't keep up with a 400hp Corvette

stock Mustangs are roadkill for stock f-bodies... always have been, always will be... even the much heralded "Terminator" Cobras were, in fact, only slightly faster than a stock Z28 or SS... as a matter of fact, one of the most famous races I was ever videoed running was against an '03 Cobra that, with my lowly little 405rwhp, I was able to pull away from at mach speed.

bottom line: bring it, Pony boy... you're still going to finish second.
