my problem with $100k sports cars:
2002 Z28 - $23.8k new
full bolt ons - $5k new (I'm including heads and cam since they "bolt on" or are held in by bolts)
full suspension upgrades - $3k new
Moser 12bolt rear end - $3300 new
C5 brakes upgrade - $2k including parts... all new
for less than $40k, you can build a car that will keep up with almost any car in the world... start with a '99-'00 C5 FRC and it gets even better than that... so why buy a generic $100k car when you can build one up to your own personal tastes for $50k or less?
I believe the R8 is a wonderful machine but they wont be selling one to me... unless maybe I win the Lottery and decide to get one for my home in Jamaica or something
