For the record, I think their 8.6 0-60 estimate is probably a bit conservative as well. With that much torque on hand, and even a little more horsepower than the gas engines, my guess is it will be a little faster than that.

But with that much torque, they can give it taller gearing -thus negating the acceleration advantage
