I seriously considered the Challenger RT before I bought my Camaro SS. If the Camaro didn't exist, I probably would have bought a Challenger. IMO, it's the second best-looking car on the road - after the Camaro. For me, the Challenger was just too big, and the Camaro was just right. The Camaro also had better performance stats- more power (SS vs RT), better brakes, better handling, better reliability, plus better styling, for about the same money. It was an easy decision. A buddy of mine has an orange Challenger RT that he drives to church, and he usually parks beside my Camaro SS. Guess which one gets more attention from both older drivers, younger folks, and the kids? Even his wife says she likes the Camaro better and wishes they had bought one.
