So, I had some time to kill and saw a Shelby GT500 at Stringray Chevrolet in Plant City FL.
I'm talking to the guys and find out they have a 2010 GTR as well.
1st we started with the2010 Shelby GT500: Lots of fun shifting gears and I enjoyed driving it, but I will keep my ZL1 and will happily drive home in the Corvette we arrived in. Not knocking the car, just would not trade for one. I would like it in the garage thou
2nd, the 2010 GTR: OMG! it was too much fun. Great acceleration and it sounded like an Indy car. It would hard to drive and not go fast in that car. But again, I will keep the ZL1 for my tastes and expect that the wife would not give up her Vette for the GTR. If you have not driven one, you should =).
On the drive home, I was thrilled that I had the chance to test drive the cars, but was more thrilled to be in our own car. As I was driving though, I could not imagine not driving my ZL1 at this point in my life. So, in closing, ZL1 is all me!!!
