These are all brilliant!!

These aren't exactly "art" in the traditional sense...but I like to think of them as art in their own special way. As you will see - I'm more of a tangible/3 dimentional kind of guy as opposed to drawing...I just never got into it, I guess.

The vase was done in 7th grade art class. Blew the teacher away, I might add, what with the flowers sticking out and all.




And this is my proudest creation yet. 5' x 5' x 30" Kitchen Table.
The table top is made of 1 1/8 inch particle-board (heavy as hell), but all the hardwood pieces are primarily made of Oak, with Walnut inlays in the apron, and the corners of the legs. A laminate surface was used because this is a heavily used piece, and I'd like to minimize any scratching. If you look close at the second and third picture, you can see a little groove transitioning the laminate to the hardwood. All done in my High School's wood shop in 12th grade. Took me just over 6 months at about 4.5 hours a week.
