The investigation points out that how the driver was shot was well after the so called victim felt his life was in danger. If his life was in danger, the thief would have been hit from the side, not the back. The victims story also doesn't add up. When he initially called the cops he claimed he shot at the thief for stealing his vehicle. It wasn't until later on that he claimed he felt threatened. Seems like hes trying to cover his butt now that the kid is dead.
