Those were kinda the opposite of the El Camino though. El Camino's were cars with truck features. The SSR was a truck with car features

Why? The Dart has nothing to do with the Dart of old beyond the name. Besides, the Chevy Cruze is a better car in almost every way. If they were to do a new Nova, the car they should target is the FRS/BRZ. Small, lightweight, RWD, and efficient.

They were supposed to bring that over as a Pontiac, probably in 2010. But the death of Pontiac kinda got in the way
