I'm a private pilot, SEL and rotorcraft.
The ticket cost me $2500 33 years ago in a Piper Tomahawk. It rented for $26 hr, wet.
I reckon a pvt license will set you back $10,000 today.
Commercial/ATP with 1500 hrs could easily cost you six figures.
Go military if you want to learn to fly.
