Hey everyone just looking for some input. My girlfriend owns an '04 Honda Accord V6 auto. The other day I was driving from my parents and the car was slipping and the tach was shooting up to 4-5000 rpm and surging. I pulled over and shut it off for a min started it back up and drove very easily to our house it worked ok.
The next morning I checked the trans fluid and it was dark grey/blackish. (I had the fluid changed this past summer) there is a whining sound when the car is running,
Not any pulleys, it's coming from the tranny side.. Torque converter? Anyways The car has a delay when goin into gear and slips... My question is should I bother wasting 130$+ on another trans fluid flush? I know it's only a small amount compared to replacing the trans( which I can get a fully
Rebuilt for 1850$, with 20 000kms warranty) also there were no codes, I checked with a code scanner.
