Laws are laws...and we don't write them. If the general public wants them removed, they get to get the ball rolling to repeal the particular law. Officers just enforce them. You can't get mad at them for doing so either. Again, the law is the law. People know this when they put on that illegal window tint. If they get popped for it, WHO is really the person to blame? The officer for doing his job or the person who KNEW it was illegal but did it anyway?
However, 2mph would get tossed out in most cases by the Judge. If that's tossed out, the tint will also be tossed out. PC for the stop was the speeding. Tint was secondary. If you go to court, I'd be willing to bet it's gone in a few minutes. ...well, as long as the Judge is a reasonable person. Shoot...if I got that ticket, I'd take it to court. Two mph, in my professional opinion is absolutely ridiculous!
