Raise the power in the LF3 to match the HP level of the LT1, and I guarantee you that the LF3 will make more torque over just as wide of an RPM range.

That said...that LT1 is freaking awesome.

As Gretchen said earlier...420HP 430 TQ is not pushing it in the LF3. Hell, it can go well past that easily. We see it all the time with forced induction on the LFX which is a fairly tough engine, but has a couple weak points you have to watch out for once you start climbing near the 500 bhp range. The LF3 is stronger so I'm sure it could handle 500 without much issue.
