Hello Camaro5 members!
I joined this site a month ago, right after I ordered my Camaro. I've thoroughly enjoyed keeping up with all the posts and now have... oh, a few lists of mods I want to do! After (im)patiently waiting for 1 month and 5 days (who's counting?), he finally arrived - my 2013 2 LT RS!
I pick him up noon tomorrow; I will not be getting any sleep. In fact, I have not had more than 4 hours of sleep a night since my order status changed to "shipped / en route" about a week ago. I've been wanting a new Camaro for a long, long time. My love for Camaros was born in the winter of 1991, shortly after my 7th birthday. My cousin wouldn't share his Hot Wheels and after begging he tossed this random black car at me - it was a Camaro. Ever since then I've been hooked.
I took him for a spin today and darn near had a heart attack.
He will be my daily driver. And I just bought a house, so don't try to talk me into buying a V8 right away.
I'm content with a V6. I'm upgrading from a Scion TC to this...
I'm not mechanically inclined (big science/computer nerd pretty much), so I look forward to continue keeping up with the threads. Thank you for all the kindness that you have shown me so far. Better photos to come soon!!!
