And if your picture is too large of a file, either make the file smaller, or use a photo hosting site like photobucket.
Photobucket, for example, is great for photos too big for some sites. Just join up (it's free), upload your pix there, and copy/paste the IMG tags into the message box on this site. It'll show your pic but be hosted by photobucket. Just remember, if you ever change anything on the hosted picture, you'll get that dreaded old red "x" in place of a picture wherever you posted your pix.
I refiled a lot of my pix a while back and found a lot of my old pix had red x's in place of them.
