My first car was a 72 Ford Maverick grabber 2d with the 302. I had a love/hate relationship with that car. Looking back I didnt really appreciate that car much. That and a 79 Subaru station wagon and a 77 Toyota Celica were the only cars from the 70s I have owned. I paid $1000 for the Fordv(1 owner perfect original condition w/50 k miles), $350 for the Toyota and the Suby was a free hand me down. All this took place in the late 80s.
