What is it with names these days? Chevy makes a car named "SS"... Ferrari names what could be their baddest ass automobile ever, "LaFerrari"... and just about every other automaker is using Alpha-Numeric names. Are we running out of names... running out of creativity?
Honda has used the name, "Passport" on different vehicles (a scooter AND an SUV), and Pontiac resurrected "LeMans" for a car NOTHING like the "real" one. Malibus should have had a new name, as there seems to be little in common with the early incarnation. Novas, too... how was that LAST lil' Nova even remotely similar to its predecessors? Even American trucks: F150, Chevy/GMC 1500/ Ram 1500... or F250, Chevy/ GMS 2500/ Ram 2500... and so forth. Toyota had a remotely feasible "pattern" going, when they were simultaneously selling the "T-100," the "Tundra," (see how it sorta sounds like "T-hundred?"), and the Tacoma ("C" represents "100" in Roman Numerals, so you get a "T" followed shortly my a form of "100"). Or, Citation? Shouldn't that name have been pinned on a really fast car? But the Chevy Spark... doesn't that sound like a name for an ELECTRIC vehicle?

Of course... lots of names have no meaning, but really seem to work: Camry, Sentra, Corvette, and Camaro come to mind.
