No numbers have been released yet, but the C7 will not be heavier than the C6. That you can count on. And insuring an aluminum frame is not a big issue with insurance companies as many believe. you would be paying maybe $5-10 more a month. Not an issue if you can afford a 60k car. And when the C8 is unveiled 10 years from now, Im sure its all electric platform will be very impressive, and heavy.
