Ditto here as far as being in the "Old Fart" category. I've owned a '65 convertible Stingray and my absolute favorite---a '66 Stingray....427/390. All original except the a/c unit. Nassau blue exterior and interior. Sold it in '97 to a cardiac surgeon from the East Coast. I'm still kicking my own butt for letting it go....
Although I haven't seen the C7 in person...yet. Everything I've read and all the pics I've seen justifies GM giving it the "Stingray" branding. No doubt about it.....this car rocks!
