This position requires that an applicant have knowledge of food industry practices and procedures. Explain any work experience, education or training that relates to food sanitation responsibilities, food regulatory inspection experience, food quality control responsibilities for time and temperatures, processing, product grading, certification or weights and measures.
Over the course of my internship at The Ohio State University's Waterman Dairy Farm, I was responsible for the production and collection of Grade A fluid milk from over one hundred lactating Jersey cattle. In addition, part of my duties involved maintaining sanitary conditions in the milking parlor, cleaning and disinfecting milking equipment, and ensuring fluid milk stored in the bulk tank remained at an acceptable temperature.
