Nearly all the variants in the High-feature V6 family (3.0L and 3.6L) are between 80 and 90 hp/L, and there are a few in the Ecotec 4 cylinder family are up in that range as well. I don't know the sales numbers for each engine, but I don't think its unreasonable to assume that at least 1 in 5 GM vehicles, worldwide, has one of those engines.

As far as I know, all these engines are DOHC, and any that aren't would be SOHC not push rod. But the placement & number of cams (to my knowledge) doesn't impact engine longevity
