I am not seeing that though, I see the same negativity for both still today, and I will admit a lot is deserved, but on both sides. GMs old 4 speed automatics were horrible, just horrible (Chrysler had it's issues here too). We have had trouble with transmissions in all of the last 3 GM cars we have had and lets be honest, you only have to take one trip around this site to see that GM still has a lot to work on the reliability front.............
