The "fans" won't be able to sell it to me. You either like it or you do not. I don't. In my mind, this car does NOT rate the SS nameplate. All I could think of when I saw it is "here we go again...put an SS on ANYTHING"

I'm surprised this thread still has life. Drivetrain can't be argued with if you're a Camaro fan (transmission choices limited though, which sucks). But the car is kinda lame exterior-wise, and will be, IMO, about a big of a hit sales-wise as say, a Volt. I really do hope they limit production on these or they'll take a bath.

I think if they would have just sort of slid the cover off this thing without the pre-hype, people wouldn't "bitch" about it. I'm not bitching about it. It's an unattractive car at likely to be an unattractive price. But there will be some that wish to create a garage spot for that, and to them I say, "Good for you to be brave, going against the grain. Enjoy your Jelly Belly offering."
