I've been looking at this car since the release and I think it's just a couple of things in the looks department that are misses. Not a whole lot.
1. Over in the c7 forum FEN mentioned the color. The silver color looks washed out in the real photos. In the glamor shots and the pix of the Holden, you can see how sculpted the front really is. He's right. It was a bad choice for a launch. The pace car looks much better.
2. I think if the bumper was body colored it would look even better. This is my personal taste. I think the aftermarket would be able to take care of that easily.
3. They should have made it much more aggressive with something like the ZL1 grille.
Chevy should have done this at launch. People would have gone apeshit. It shouldn't take much to make the SS look as badass as it can be made to perform.
I'm a little disappointed. This car is supposed to be the halo performance sedan for chevy. They should not have been afraid to go out on a limb and make this car look aggressive. They did it with the Impala. They almost hit a home run but checked the swing.
I do think a manual will be available eventually but it's going to be tied to step up in trim and/or performance package. More $$$. The white SS emblem on the fender??? Why is it white? The SS on the head rest & dash is red. Maybe they are saving the red fender SS for the next trim level with dual mode exhaust/quad tip and a manual trans?? I thought I saw a pic with a quad tip diffuser floating around.

Chevy and GM has got the message on the interiors. This is just the next one in a long line of really well sorted out interiors. Inside it looks great. I can't wait to see one of these in person.
