I don't understand the need to import Holden cars. Why can't Chevy develop a sedan off the next CTS platform? That could be their NASCAR entry.
On top of all that, why the hell did they pick SS as the name? That makes no sense at all.

Because Holden needs to export cars in addition to Australian sales.
Because they just finished up the Alpha CTS. Developing an Alpha-based SS would take even more time. The VF Commodore is ready to go.
