This switch to make all cars Letters and Numbers, just one more sign that we are being Europenized (I just made that word up)! I hate how everything European and now Asian is just a stupid Alpha-Numeric code.
#'s and Letters are what you assign something before you have a finished product. And I think it further detaches us from that incredible relationship we have with our automobiles.
I like my Camaro, I like that my car was given a name that has a history and is truly part of the car itself. SS is a trim level, and always should be.
I almost regret getting my License Plate now [20TEN SS]. I can hear it now...
"That's not the SS!"
