since transformers was premiering last night, GM brought up a bunch of fleet vehicles for free test drives. I got to drive both the v6 RS and SS rs (both auto). no manuals because of stupid drivers, gm policy now.

The manual shift was a very nice feature, the shifter goes in M just below D and allows full control, it won't shift out of gear unless you press the shift buttons located on the reverse side of the steering wheel. when redlining the SS it seemed to be a little hesitant if i tried to press the button right at 6k for the shift. for drag racing im assuming leaving it in D is your best choice like always. I imagine it would be great for track driving though, as it will stay in gear as long as you want.

Got up to about 90mph going WOT the whole way. very comfortable and effortless. the auto tranny shifted very hard for a stock oem trans. similar to my performabuilt on a few occasions. I also loved all the colored lighting in the interior at night, very nice eye candy with all the gauges. I will definately look into buying one when i can afford it!

beautiful aqua-something metallic, cant remember exactly. think 04 mystichrome cobra without the purple. just blue/green chameleon.
