I've purchsed rim/tire sets a number of times for my Camaro, my Silverado, and my Suburban. Generally get a set with new tires four $200-$300 (I've never paid a penny more). Sell my old rims (with the worn out tires) for $100- $150 on CL, meaning that my tires, requiring no mount/ balance, only a jack and some lug wrenching, for $200 or less, every full set. Hell, I work for a major tire manufacturer, and even employee discount pricing can't even come close to imagining to dream of touching those prices I get on CL.
