Im glad Gm is finally get with diesels in cars and im sure the 42 hwy is just an estimate everyone knows how to get better mileage in cars i know i beat MPG sticker in almost every car i have owned if i needed to get better mileage. Just remember its just an estimate. The car is priced in the right range remember that VW has been selling diesels in cars for many years in a row. GM hasnt so the price is gonna be a bit higher and dont forget that the warranty is better than Vw.
