Hrrmmm. Not sure how to feel about this. I have been looking forward to the Cruze diesel for a long time. But I thought they could do it at a low 20s price and MPGs in the upper 40s at the very least. I guess the things like MyLink, and the leather help to justify the costs....but why make them standard?

GM had better NOT be sandbagging those numbers, b/c they are going to need all the reasons they can to get this baby to sell. First impressions on a new product are key, and so far I'm not sure if the initial impression I'm getting is a good one. I hope to learn more about it though and hopefully the combined mileage will be the real key instead of just the HWY numbers. Hope to see it succeed.
