I talked with my sister in law yesterday about something else, and Ray Lewis came up. We've never talked about him or the Ravens before. She lives in Atlanta, and doesn't like him as well.

I'm wondering if Baltimore (the murder capital of the U.S.) really cares about people getting murdered, and how it affects peoples lives the way the rest of the country does. Either that, or you guys are just willing to overlook any behavior as long as the player plays well.
We haven't been number one for a few years, at least. Detroit has been recently, followed by New Orleans. We are somewhere around #5. It's foolish to say that no one cares about it, but the reality is, most people don't have any connections to it. It's not like you're at risk walking out of your house to get stabbed at any given moment. While we have more than some other cities, murders are still so rare which keeps many people disconnected from the acts.
