a little more about the nova and me.well back in the day i ran a sbc with a single stage of nos 10.5 x 30 mickey e/t street tire. and the car weighted 3050 with me in it all street lea gal mufflers all lights you name it. iwon a championship in 1998 and runner up in 2000 racing in the nsca easy street class back then we were running mid 8 second 1/4 passes. I also raced the nsca and the new nmca both at the same time.
i finished my racing with the nsca when they closed i think # 2 or3 in the points i then raced nmca extreme street and when i quit that i stayed in the top 10 for about 7 yrs. when i quit racing nmca my best time was 8.36 @ 164 with a ten slick.
anyway the last 6 yrs i turned the nova into more of a drag radial car sbc with a 101 mm turbo and will start testing this year i just might not be driving any more is all.
