For a .223/5.56 300 yrds is really about the limit and be accurate. Even if you reload and use 75 grain bullets (the heaviest I would even think about using and even then I probably wouldn't) you will have accuracy issues at 300 yrds as this caliber simply wasn't meant for long range.....

We had been talking about the 5.56 ARs.
