I man up, and actually make them cause me a pain in the rear end; instant mod money at the cost of a rear fascia. They do more.. well in most states it's open and shut when you get tagged in the rear.
My T/A has had it's share of nicks, scratches, and crunches over the years. I know where a hit won't count and also where to quickly source replacments on the cheap.
It's the $2 corner fairy's fault.. you just get a check. Have him pay for that fascia swap.
