Well, what are you looking for? What are you wanting to put it on? There are several great scopes out there right now with multiple reticle options ranging in prices. It really depends on what your shooting platform is. If its going on a standard length AR with your typical twist you don't need an extensive scope. Your glass plays a factor as well. Now if your putting it on a match system with a more precision twist you may want to move up into a better scope. You have to factor in your MOA for your gun as well. It really depends on a lot of thing that would take me hours to go into, but if you have the time I would be glad to help. I am trying to go for longer ranges with my new 5.56/.223 AR build. Yes I know .308 and other calibers are better for long range, .308 is my next build. I am going to try and go 300+ yards with this build. I usually shoot 55 grain since that was the last bulk batch I bought. 1:8 twist and 20" barrel rifle length. I was checking several out at the gun show I went to last weekend. I would like an illuminated one that can adjust pretty far out. I was thinking something like 10-40x50 I have done some hunting and have been shooting for a long time just haven't done much long range, so that's next on my list.
