There was a kid by the name of Zeph Zinsman... played baseball at LSU.... went 4 for 5 with 3 home runs, a triple, 9 RBI's against us on a Saturday afternoon... oh yeah, and Skip Bertman bailed him out of jail on public drunkenness charges that morning around 7am... Think he finished the series 11 for 17 or something like that... he transferred to Louis and Clark State after he was kicked off the team...

I hate him but always loved the LSU baseball program. my college coach was actually an assistant there for a while so we had a very similar program.


Kinda cool how they chant T-I-G-E-R-S after every home run there... fans were great, they gave me a tupperware container of Armadillo meat at the end of the 3 game series since i liked it so much and i wasnt afraid to talk shit back to them as we were getting our asses handed to us in a can. Good times at LSU, good times.
