for acceleration, the GTR has a clear advantage in 0-60 over nearly everything else. But midrange and top end it doesn't do so well. A stock top Camaro might beat it to 150 mph. But for a total of under 50k you could build up a base Camaro to beat a the Nissan on any track.
However, with all the focus on the GT-R vs the Corvette and the 911, there is 1 car that has been forgotten about: Viper. As I understand it, the snake boasts better 1/4 mile numbers, braking, skidpad, and figure 8. I'd like to see those two in comparison test.
The GT-R is an amazing machine though. It bothers me that it can handle a track better than the Corvette.
