In 1978, gas was about .75 a gal..... every day I would put in $2.00 worth to get to school and back, about 40 miles round trip.... in a 69 Camaro with a busted fuel sending unit.... Not bad gas mileage!
....... Anyhow, long story short, I replaced the sending unit, now that I have a working gauge, figured I could now go 1 1/2 trips (according to the gauge)...
