You guys fail at comprehension. I'm not making any arguments on generations per se - only pointing to your insistent use of them to justify your "rare" cars is stupid. You're right - the Civic example was stupid - that's my point.

Technically the 2010+ Mustang is not a new generation yes. Technically there's no difference between the 9th and 8th gen Civics, also yes. Who cares? You can't buy an 8th gen Civic new any more, and you can't buy a 2005-2009 Mustang new any more so the arguments including them are void.

In the end, you go and buy a 2010+ Camaro, or a 2010+ Mustang - that's your choice, and there's more Camaros than Mustangs of the choice you currently have and therefore it's the only thing that's valid.

When you bought your Camaro, do you factor in all the pre-2003 Camaros you see on the road into your decision? No, and that's my point.

You've given your arguments about why you feel your car is rare, because in your hick town you see more Mustangs. Good for you. I see it as a self-created delusion. You're just 1 in 500,000 like the rest of us, and that's a fact.
