The guy in the video is an idiot. At 100,000 miles+ I would expect something to go wrong with a car. My mom's 2007 Tahoe's transmission had to be replaced after 6,000 miles along with a plethora of other problems down the road. Her 2011 Tahoe has a laggy transmission as well. My brother's 2008 Malibu with 50k miles has an awful transmission that kicks constantly and barely knows Drive from Reverse. And guess what? No dealer knows how to fix it and Chevrolet won't replace it. After hitting about 12,000 miles, I saw that even my Camaro has an awful transmission that never really knows what gear it wants to be in, so often times I find myself driving in Manual mode to avoid it. Chevy doesn't make good transmissions.

Don't talk about how bad Ford is when Chevy honestly has more problems to worry about.
Oh, and stop humping Chevy's leg. They are in no way superior to their competition at this point regarding most of their vehicles.

I disagree, it is not the transmission that is the issue, it is all the damn computer programming required to meet the EPA and CAFE standards by requiring the car to keep the RPMs low.

There is nothing wrong with the transmission in of itself, evident by your comment that keeping it in manual makes a difference..

Now the older GMT-800s trucks, with I believe was the 4L60E transmissions, yeah those were problematic, but again, not really mechanical, one of their biggest issues was their electronics shared the same fuse as the O2 and MAF sensors, also again horrible programming, the majority of the issues with that series was the PCM, not mechanical, which is why the dealer failed at correcting the issues, the tech was looking for mechanical failures when in fact it was a programming failure.
