Both of my sons played D-1 college baseball, and my older son played pro ball with the Marlins organization... Three years... Got to AA and got tired of being told when to eat, when to go to the bathroom, when to go to bed etc... Chucked it all and finished his degree... Now he's working and coaching college softball...

My wife played college volleyball, played in the National Championship game two different years... She tried out for the Olympic team as an outside hitter but was considered too short at 5'8" when the setter was over 6'. I guess the 29" vertical wasn't enough...

I played tournament softball for years, but I'm too old now... And my schedule doesn't allow for it...

Damn, your brother should be playing on Saturdays soon, that young man is very good, stays home and is tenacious as hell....
