I think that risk is lower than being hit head on by a drunk driver. Will it be perfect, probably not. But I think the potential life savings is considerable. No more distracted drivers, drunk drivers, elderly, inexperienced, speeders etc. Lower insurance perhaps? Lower unpaid medical bills due to fewer accidents?
