I too missed your post Number3, mostly because I've been TDY for 8 weeks and I'm still catching up on all the threads (including too many cynical ones).

I am so very sorry to hear about Mrs. Number3....after 25years that is just not something anyone would expect. My Dad had 43 years and was "downsized" in January 2009 so I've got an idea what you are going through. Please let her know that I as well as the rest of the community here at Camaro5 are thinking of her as she decides how to deal with this and pulling hard for GM to survive and come out of this a stronger, better company.

Thanks so very much for taking personal time to meet with us here in Dec. 2008 in St. Louis.....you'll never know how much it meant to I and others here in the middle of the United States (the Heartbeat of America, if you will) seeing that Red CTF car in all of it's glory! It's the first time in my life I've wanted to stand in a McDonald's parking lot, in the middle of winter, freezing my tail off and not caring one bit about it!!

GM has brought back a vehicle that has ignited a passion in not only us "older" folks but in the younger generation. I can't wait until capacity is such that this passion is ignited in the general public. It is GM the employees continued work on vehicles like the Camaro, Traverse, Malibu, Volt, and CTS (especially -V) that will carry GM into this next century!

Thanks for continuing to share your thoughts and experiences with all of us here so that as we anxiously await our own Camaros we can live through you vicariously!

Josh
