I am thankful I got to have her so long. I am very sorry you had to lose your mom so young. I hope you have wonderful memories of her to cherish. God sent me a message on the first anniversary of my mother's death. That day one of my jobs was to talk to and read a book about the death of a loved one to a 3 year old whose mother had unexpectedly died. Yes, I was blessed to have her as long as I did. We were both blessed to know our mothers. I also think a lot about how close I came to dieing right after my son was born. I know many children never know their mothers. Life is wonderful and full of strong emotions good and bad. We have to endure the bad and relish the good.
