The main reason why I don't like BMW's and European cars in general is that I value maintenance over interiors. German cars are notorious for reliability and cost of repairs is through the roof. However, the come with lots of little nice things and the interior materials are quite good.

I almost have a degree in engineering, 1 month left. Two things have been beat into my head over the last 4 years.
1) The perfect design is achieved not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
2) Anything that can go wrong, eventually will

I just can't justify something that will cost me twice as much while I own it. Its not an issue of affordability, its common sense. If I needed a top notch interior things might be different. I look at the entire picture when I decide whats best. Performance, reliability, fuel economy, repair cost, vehicle cost, build quality, interior quality, styling. Based on all that, I just don't think europeans are worth it. Also using the same logic, I have come to the conclusion that the new Camaro will be the absolute best car on the market.
